The Public Safety Committee conducts research, analysis and recommendations on criminal justice issues. The committee is a liaison to the City Public Safety Division (Police and Fire) and the Franklin County Sherrif’s Department. They also review any city, state or federal plans that affect the area.
Residents will be notified in advance of any planned interruptions of water service and parking restrictions will be posted with signs along the restricted areas. Access to your driveway, mail service, and trash pick-up will be maintained during the project.
Franklin County Auditor Michael Stinziano warned residents about a recent scam where fraudulent checks appearing to come from Franklin County are arriving to unsuspecting individuals across Ohio and in other states.
National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, October 24 from 10 am to 2 pm. This event is free and open to any resident of Franklin County.
