The Community Outreach Committee is responsible for providing residents with updates, sharing available resources, and building a broader audience through the Commission’s website, social media platforms, and other community outreach methods.

The Greater Columbus Arts Council, in collaboration with the city of Columbus, will select one neighborhood in the city each year. Artists from the selected neighborhood are invited to propose an art
project that actively engages the community in that neighborhood. All artistic disciplines are encouraged

In an effort to combat the further spread of COVID-19, Columbus Public Health is bringing the mobile vaccination clinic to Far South Columbus residents. Residents 16 years old or older can register to be vaccinated right in their own community.

In support of amplifying community voices, Columbus City Council opened applications for the Council Residential Districting Commission (CRDC). The members of this commission will draw the residential district maps of Council.
With input from the Department of Neighborhoods and the City Attorney, updated ByLaws are expected to be presented soon.
